Series The Color of a Story

These series of paintings aim at portraying the sea as physical space, as limit to an island. The sea, a space-container of stories connected to Cubaʼs migration processes is, for most, the obstacle between the reality that surrounds them and the possibility of reaching their dreams. These are paintings structured in a single plane, where sky and sea blend in and color takes on a symbolic nature to tell different stories than the ones usually representing the sea in a Caribbean island.
